I started SIGN for two reasons, our sweet Golden, Lacey and our energetic Husky, Luna. Lacey had been gaining 1-2 pounds a year as she matured and Luna had overall digestive issues. On a drive out West, I was listening to a freeze dried dog food advertisement of all things (another story). At the end, I was sold, but researching the price caused a severe case of sticker shock. I thought, I like to cook and maybe I can come up with something. Both my dogs were on kibble. My goals were simple. Make a dog food that was as healthy as possible for the lowest price.
